Jake’s Bar Mitzvah weekend was jam-packed!

The festivities began on the Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving. While most people were packing the malls for Black Friday madness, Jake and his friends and family were enjoying a kids roller-skating party at Skate Along USA.

The kids feasted on pizza and candy, and each went home with personalized airbrushed drawstring bags, courtesy of Georgia Airbrush.

Friday night dinner, catered at Beth Tefilah by Added Touch,  was a celebration of fall – burlap, berries, twine, apples, fresh herbs and more! Arrangements By Catherine provided all the rustic-inspired décor.

A beautiful Kiddush was held Saturday morning using much of the same décor, and was catered by Robin Varon of Congregation Beth Tefillah.

Barry Taratoot photographed the entire weekend’s festivities and really captured all of the fun and memorable moments.

On Saturday night, the family had a dessert reception at their residence for all of their close family and friends. Classic Tents and Events provided a heated tent that occupied the bar, food station and coffee bar.

Added Touch catered this gathering as well, offering fall favorites like caramel apples, oatmeal raisin cookies, pumpkin and spice cakes and tons of other sweets! There was also the most beautiful cheese, cracker and dried fruit platter.

Viva La Mexico!

Longtime couple Leanne and Cary opted for a classy, Mexican themed wedding at Cantina in Buckhead.

 b-131

Like any good groom, Carey ADORES Leanne and all of her thoughts and ideas regarding the planning of their wedding, so it was truly a pleasure to bring Leanne’s vision to life. Leanne’s mom also did an amazing job helping to execute Leanne’s vision and  helping to get each tiny detail completed.

b-28

This unique wedding featured a build-your-own-taco bar, as well as other modern Mexican options, and boasted wine, beer, sangria, and tequila shots at the bar. So fun!

b-1670b-1343

AAA DJ Services kept this already rowdy crowd (did we mention the tequila shots?) dancing the night away, and Jeremy Adamo made sure not a moment was missed; capturing all of the memories of this special day.

b-1744

Their beautiful cake, courtesy of Publix, was both gorgeous and delicious.

We loved being a part of this fun, colorful celebration and wish Leanne and Cary all the best for the future!

The Savage Garden was responsible for the décor; beautiful hues of purple and greens amongst moss and branches. With it’s soft, pastel palatte, the space was transformed into an enchanted garden!

The bride and groom are also avid music lovers and are both musicians, so the event was infused with a cool music vibe as well. The groom’s cake was even in the shape of a vinyl record!

The couple chose Atlanta Beat for their band, and they were amazing; then even allowed the bride and groom’s band to play a set. The groom wrote an original song for his bride, and they shared their first dance to the tune of this special song.

Chameleon Red Photography was onsite to capture all of the priceless moments; we particularly love these of the bride and groom rocking out with their band.

It’s Like Raaaaaaain on Your Wedding Day!

This beautiful couple opted to say “I Do” at The Montaluce Winery, who provided a decadent and delicious 3 course meal with paired wines that blended seamlessly with each course.

DSC_4330

With the help of Juli Vaughn Designs, the ceremony, officiated by Rabbi Peter S. Berg, was scheduled to be outside alongside the rows of grapevines. Juli and her team worked tirelessly to set up the most unique chuppah.

chuppah

As is every bride’s nightmare, a terrible rains storm started brewing. But Juli and her team didn’t miss a beat; and at the 11th hour (along with some helpful members of the Montaluce staff) awkwardly carried a chuppah up a 50 yard muddy slope to the second floor of the reception space. In the end, it was unbelievably beautiful and perfect. Juli’s flowers and table arrangements were thoughtful and personal to the bride and groom.

Table with view

Michelle Marie Photography did a beautiful job capturing the true essence and elegance of the event; and even captured this priceless shot of the bride and groom playing DJ.

DJ

G Salon and Spa was responsible for the hair and makeup of all of the ladies of the wedding party, and everyone looked absolutely stunning!

Adele Wang was responsible for the beautiful and personal ceremony music while Fernando of Lethal Rhythms kept the party rockin’ once the couple sealed the deal.

Their amazing cake, was not only gorgeous to look at, but was pretty delicious too, thanks to Frosted Pumpkin Gourmet Inc.

And finally, what’s a wedding without transportation in style? A special thanks to Crown Mountain Limo for their prompt and attentive service.

Even though mother nature provided an unwelcome hiccup in this event, our wonderful vendors came through in a pinch and made sure that this couple’s special day was a success!

Zoe was the “Starr” of the night and lit up the club for her Bat Mitzvah celebration!

scenesationszoe2892

Held at Roswell Historic Cottage, this casual and fun celebration featured an outdoor cocktail hour, then dinner from local food trucks; The Fry Guy, and Gezzo’s Tacos. Then Zest Catering and Rita’s Ice provided the rest of the yummy food.

Mother nature couldn’t have provided a more gorgeous night, and Let’s Celebrate did an amazing job with the indoor décor, so the setting was absolutely perfect.

scenesationszoe2585

Zoe really wanted to play up the “clubby” feel, so she even had bouncers at the door checking kids in.

scenesationszoe2739

Everyone danced the night away with the help of Atlanta Fever, who kept the club jumpin’. 😉

Memories in a Moment provided a green screen so that the guest were able to take photos with silly backgrounds and fun props, and Photographer Patti Colvert captured professional photos for Zoe and her family to cherish.

scenesationszoe2001

To round out a fun and festive evening, Zoe  gave out flashing cups filled with candy at the end of the night. So creative and so much fun!
