Giving Back

Bluming Creativity’s founder, Tara Kornblum, began her career in Atlanta working for nonprofit organizations and has made community service a signature tenet of her business. An active volunteer since she was 10 years old, Tara knows from personal experience the difference volunteerism and service can make in the lives of teens.

Creating Connected Communities

Since 2010, Creating Connected Communities (CCC) has been one of Bluming Creativity’s signature clients. An Atlanta-based nonprofit, CCC’s mission is to bring life-enhancing programs to children in need by empowering teens to become engaged community leaders and volunteers. The Bluming Creativity team plans and orchestrates CCC’s monthly community-building programs – including Amy’s Holiday Party, a winter celebration serving thousands of children and families in need from more than 40 social service agencies and schools. Learn more about CCC by visiting www.cccprojects.org.

I could not be more grateful for the work, energy, passion, and logistical mastery Tara and her team bring to our programs. They go above and beyond in all aspects of their work and their dedication and passion show in everything they do.  When they say they will handle something, you know it will be done and you know it will be incredible!

Service Learning Days

As part of our mission to give back to the community, Bluming Creativity wants to help inspire the next generation to get involved in service and volunteerism through school-oriented service days.

Bluming Creativity has successfully organized service learning days for three large Atlanta organizations.

Here are some quick stats about a 2019 service learning day at one area school:

•  400 people participated, including more than 200 students
•  12 project sites took place all around Atlanta
•
Nearly 2,500 books were collected and organized for area children in need
•
100 bags were packed to help older adults through the winter
•  200 lunches were packed to help homeless shelters
•
Nearly 1,000 hours of service were volunteered in a single day!
