Simple Summer Solarium

A beautiful day at the Solarium in Decatur over the summer. The bride made all the centerpieces and decorated herself. She wanted it simple but elegant and with mini candle gardens on some of the tables she got just that. As it got dark it looked very pretty….

Baby Shower – Idea for Anything!

Beautiful Baby Shower for a baby boy. Relish did a great job with the food and we kept the decor simple but pretty. A lot has changed, before I was just blogging for myself, to keep good ideas in one place with pictures so that if I ever wanted to come back to them I would have them, but now I have started my own event planning business so I am getting to use all of my ideas and create a new reality, I love it! I will keep posting fun and innovative ideas but now I am also able to post others ideas that have worked at events we have done and more. Stay tuned…..

Baby Shower Bib Decorating

I have a lot of friends that are pregnant or have just had children. So that means that lately I have been to a lot of baby showers. Usually there is a bit of down time in between eating and presents – or during present opening.

Decorate Bibs! Give each person a plain white bib and a couple of fabric markers. Let them write, draw and decorate anything that they would like on the bibs. Polka dots, cute messages, or pictures. Fun to do and the new mom will love them!
