Pretty in Pink!

Abby’s Bat Mitzvah Celebration was colorful, girly, and full of personality; just like Abby!

IMG_8260

Held at Le Fais Do Do, which literally translates to “dance the night away”, this celebration was a rockin’ good time! And yes, we Googled that translation. Do you blame us? 😉

IMG_8272IMG_8247

Catered by Happy Belly Food Truck, this event had tons of delectable items within various stations. The kids station included, sliders, good ol’ Southern chicken and waffles, and mac n’ cheese. Other stations included adult sliders with all the fixin’s, shrimp n’ grits, fried green tomatoes and fresh, delicious salad selections. Talk about Southern Comfort!

IMG_8294

As an added creative touch, Raising the Bar served up drinks for all of the guests, and offered signature “kiddie” cocktails with Twizzlers for straws!

The gorgeous, girly décor was designed by Kim Quinn Designs, and included bright, vibrant colors, trendy chevron prints, and a big, sparkly “A” in honor of the Bat-Mitzvah girl.

IMG_8277IMG_9632

Tap Snap provided a green screen for all of the guests to take fun, memorable shots with, and dress up with fun and silly props, while Photographer Ken Rada captured beautiful photos to cherish for years to come. We especially love this one of Abby rocking out on the dance floor!

IMG_8904-3

Speaking of rocking out, much dancing was done, courtesy of the musical stylings of DJ Rhythm. As you can see, the dance floor was packed!

IMG_8958

Finally, to round out a great evening, Abby sent all of her guests home with individually wrapped Krispy Kreme doughnuts and hot chocolate, both adorned with her adorable logo.

A great time was had by all!

A Beautiful “I Do” Beneath the Harvest Moon.

Bride and groom Amy and Brad said “I Do” on a beautiful fall day at the Defoor Centre. As always, the Defoor Centre staff did an amazing job catering to the couple’s every need and exceeding everyone’s expectations. The cuisine was amazing as well!

PilcherKolodny_28538

It’s not often that we find a groom so involved in the planning an execution of a wedding, but Brad, was the exception! He had a great eye for design and seamlessly blended the theme of the couple’s entire journey throughout the wedding; from the proposal, to the “save the date”, to the ketubah and reception. He even made the chuppah, and created the idea for the rustic fall centerpieces! He did take a little bit of help from Adam with Flowers Atlanta, who created the centerpieces and other gorgeous floral arrangements.

PilcherKolodny_28504

Normally, we “run the show”, but the groom casually informed us about 3 minutes before the ceremony that he had changed some things. That’s ok, we can roll with the punches. 😉 And we appreciate a man who is not afraid to take the reins on his special day.

PilcherKolodny_28124

After the ceremony, AAA DJ Services got the reception rockin’ right from the start and ensured that all of the guests got out on the dance floor to boogie. 🙂

PilcherKolodny_27886

Photographer Ellis Vener captured all of the fun moments, and of course the beautiful and touching ones as well.

Celsos provided a delectable cake, that looked as absolutely gorgeous as it tasted.

PilcherKolodny_28862

This fantastic fall wedding was tons of fun, and we had a great time being a part of Amy and Brad’s special day!

And what’s a Hollywood party without great music? DJ Keith with Horizon kept the crowd movin’ and shakin’ throughout the evening.

The highlight of the evening, however, was the appearance of the accapella group, the UGA Accidentals.

Two “M”s Are Better Than One!

BFFs Mollie and Mia chose to have their Bat-Mitzvah celebration like any good pair of teenaged best friends: together!

party1006

Held at Three Sheets Social Lounge, this event was tons of fun, featuring delicious food, like fries and sliders, and every kid’s dream: an Ice. Cream. Bar. Ok, maybe that’s every adult’s dream too!

party1282

With the authentic “M&M” logo throughout the party, the décor was fun, colorful, and beautifully done by our friends at Balloonacy.

party1007

DJ Atlanta Fever spun all the cool jams (is that what the kids say these days?) to the delight of the crowd and kept the energy high throughout the evening. Or was that due to the copious consumption of chocolate….

Scenesations Photography worked the room, capturing all of the memorable moments, while On The Spot Memories provided a green screen, enabling the guests to dress up with funky, colorful props, and take photos in front of different backdrops.

Mollie and Mia had a fabulous time at their dual Bat-Mitzvah celebration, and we must say, so did we!

Lily’s Secret Garden

Lily’s Bat-Mitzvah was soft and elegant, and reminded us of a beautiful enchanted garden.

523405_382413045167089_2031550001_n561821_382412941833766_1839238110_n

The centerpieces were simple and elegant; with long branches, leaves and pretty purple butterflies adorning clear vases with Lily’s name. Her check box was made to look like a mailbox, keeping with the garden theme, and the place cards were placed under hanging lights. Lighted hula hoops adorned the ceiling, adding to the whimsical feel of the space, and rustic signs pointing to different areas of the room topped off the pretty and creative décor. The staff at Kim Quinn Designs, and Balloonacy really outdid themselves this time!

Lily opted for her Bat-Mitzvah to be held at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. Built in 1921, the space was formerly a factory used to produce soaps and other cleaning products, but was bought and renovated in 2000 to be used as an event space. With its rustic, industrial feel, Puritan Mill was the perfect space for this event!

Let’s talk about food shall we? Dennis Dean Catering did a wonderful job on the cuisine, and featured delicious food from various buffet stations. There was even a candy buffet (what kid doesn’t love that??) that allowed guests to create their own favors at the end of the evening.

This enchanted evening was topped off with a great video montage of our guest of honor, and involved tons of partying and dancing from both the kids and adults.  Atlanta Fever Entertainment rocked it!

Its safe to say everyone had a wonderful time, and loved celebrating Lily’s special day!

Sophia’s Enchanted Forest: A Tribute to Her Jewish Heritage.

Bat Mitzvah girl Sophia, opted to celebrate her special day on Tu B’Shevat. Tu B’Shevat is the day that marks the beginning of a “new year” for trees. This is the season in which the earliest-blooming trees in the Land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit-bearing cycle.

Sophia 1028

Per Sophia’s request, Caterer Chef Cary incorporated each of the seven types of fruit (wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and dates) from these trees into the cuisine of the evening, and the results were simply delectable!

Sophia 1026

Keeping with the theme of the evening, Decorator JPatrick seamlessly brought Sophia’s “enchanted garden” vision to life, with beautiful purple trees, branches with hanging tea lights for centerpieces, and gorgeous uplighting throughout the venue to bring it all together. Even the placecards were designed as leaves, and hung from a tree at the entrance of the party.

Sophia 1040

DJ Vibe kept the dance floor packed and the crowd on their feet throughout the evening, while Vosamo Photography captured shots of all the action on the dance floor and off.

Sophia 1059

Since her Mitzvah project supported the Jewish National Fund, an organization whose inital goal was to plant trees and create parks in Isreal, Sophia gave out Tzedukah boxes as favors.

Sophia 1061

A great time was had by all on Sophia’s special day, and we know her future is bright!

Send My Regards to Broadwayyyyy!!

Lindsey and Kyle’s beautiful wedding centered around music, fun, and of course lots of love.

01_53_D_S_0053

Held at the Callenwolde Fine Arts Center, with the décor created By Tulip, Blooming Creations, the feel was simple, classy, and romantic.

01_55_D_S_005501_25_D_S_0025

Zest Catering did a fantastic job on the cuisine, and Roxanne Moore, a friend and bridesmaid, created a scrumptious cake for all to enjoy.

02_630_D_S_0730

One of the coolest parts of this wedding was when Lindsey and her father opted to perform a musical number instead of a father/daughter dance. Lindsey sang while her father, a retired musical theatre musician (who actually played on Broadway!), played the piano. The duo wowed the crowd with their Broadway show tunes duet.

Keeping with the musical theme of the wedding, Sonic Groove rocked the reception with amazing live music that turned the event into a huge dance party!

02_07_D_S_0107

George Street Photography didn’t miss a beat and captured all of the fun and memorable moments of the evening.

Finally, Metro Tour Shuttles made sure that all of the guests departed safely back to the hotel at the end of the evening.

Chomp Chomp! Fun in the Swamp.

Held at the Roswell Historic Cottage, this Bar Mitzvah celebration featured the guest of honor’s favorite football team: The Florida Gators!

IMG_1589IMG_1586

The decor was colorful, creative, and all made by mom. The tablecloths were (of course) orange and blue, and the centerpieces boasted signs that said “Asher’s Bar Mitzvah”. Each of the tables also had colorful buckets on them, filled to the brim with assorted chips and caramel popcorn.

IMG_1611IMG_1584

Beautiful candles with orange and white water beads decorated the cocktail tables and provided the perfect lighting within the venue.

IMG_1600IMG_1574

BBQ One provided incredible items such as Mac and Cheese, Grilled Chicken, Beef Brisket, Green Beans, and mom and dad literally covered every culinary taste, as they also featured pinwheel wraps, a cheese plate, veggie platter, deviled eggs, Chick Fila Nuggets, Krystal Sliders, and Pizza.

IMG_1590

For dessert, Cotton Cravings was onsite to provide a number of flavored cotton candy to all of the guests; always a popular choice among the younger crowd! And if that didn’t satisfy your sugar craving Kona Ice provided more delicious treats to those who just couldn’t get enough.

Serve It Up provided both a traditional and a “kids” bar, which boasted “mocktails” like Shirley Temples and other crowd favorites.

Magician Michael Boone strolled the room throughout the evening, dazzling all of the guests with a number of entertaining magic tricks.

IMG_2197

And the entertainment didn’t stop there as Atlanta Fever kept the dance floor packed and the whole crowd involved with great games, and of course all the cool jams. 🙂

IMG_1965

SRD Photo with Steven Dewberry captured countless memories as they strolled the floor throughout the evening’s events.

To top off the fun, Memories in a Moment provided a green screen so that all of the guests could capture fun, silly photos with a number of props and backgrounds.

Asher and all of his friends had a great time at his special event, and, we must say, we had a pretty good time ourselves!

Boardslidin’ in Buckhead

Harrison’s afternoon Bar Mitzvah celebration was such a creative and fun event!

As an avid skateboarder, Harrison wanted his Bar Mitzvah to reflect his love for the sport and skate culture. Let’s Celebrate did not dissapoint and created colorful and authentic skate paraphernalia to cover the space. Some of the centerpieces were constructed of actual skateboards and helmets, which Harrison donated to Amy’s Holiday Party.

harrison2272

103 West in Buckhead was the perfect location for an intimate gathering of Harrison’s closest friends and family members. The management and staff did a wonderful job bringing this special event together for the guests. The adult meal was plated and served, and boasted items such as filet mignon, a bibb lettuce caesar salad, and even a special fish dish for some of the guests.

harrison2276

The kids enjoyed a buffet of chicken and rice, delicious mini sliders, fresh fruit and broccoli.

For dessert, an ice cream buffet for the young ones and the adults noshed on a beautiful and equally delicious assortment of mini desserts.

Scensations Photography did an amazing job capturing the essense of the event, from the decor to the dancing, to the delicious cuisine!

Vibe Entertainment and it’s staff kept the dance floor full and the crowd entertained with hits for the young and……younger!

To top off an already fun afternoon, Harrison and his family surprised his Great Aunt with a special dessert and birthday song. This spunky gal was celebrating her 90th and was so full of life; dancing and having fun just like the kids!

All of the guests got to take home gray ski caps with custom airbrushing done, courtesy of Georgia Airbrush.

A great time was had by all, especially the BC Staff!
