Derek threw a cool, casino style Bar Mitzvah for all of his family and friends and Dunwoody Country Club.
The space was decked out casino style, with Blackjack and Texas Hold ‘Em tables, customized fun money, and raffle tickets.
It also featured red and blue balloons, bright table linens and centerpieces, and this fabulous Derek logo. A big thanks to Main Event for the casino tables, and Let’s Celebrate for the always fabulous decor.
As Derek’s guests entered the party, Horizon DJ got the kids excited right away with some games, as the adults enjoyed cocktail hour in the lobby. Some of the appetizers included tuna tartar, and lamp lollipops.
Once cocktail hour was over, the adults entered the space and were greeted with a beautiful plated salad, followed by food stations of salmon, been tenderloin and pasta.
After the dinner plates had been cleared, Derek’s guests watched a fabulous photo montage by Pam Vexler with Spotlight productions.
Then….it was time to party! Guests hit the dance floor and the casino tables, and partied the night away!
Chuck Robertson made his way around the room throughout the evening, capturing photos and priceless memories. This one of Derek surrounded by his friends and family is one of our faves.
As the evening wound down, Derek’s guests enjoyed mini shots of triple chocolate, cheesecake, apple crumble, and the crowd favorite…the Good Humor ice cream cart.
Guests left the party with colorful blankets, chocolate chip cookies, and great memories!
