Golden Elegance at Georgian Terrace!

A Wondrous Wedding at The Georgian Terrace –

A Setting For Generations of Meaningful Memories

When entering the venue, kippot and programs greeted the guests. With floral arrangements and decor by Pam Holley at DH Flowers and Events, guests were surrounded with the warm colors of glistening gold, pastel pink and elegant ivory.

Dancing the night away with Lethal Rhythms, guests enjoyed the wedding conventions and surprise touches. Captured on film and in still photos, photographer Kyle Hale, created tangible memories for the bride, groom, their families, and guests.

The elegant chuppah beckoned the bride and groom, and their families to enter and share in the wedding ceremony’s prayers and customs.

With emphasis on the tradition of generations celebrating and participating in a life event, a table in the cocktail area was garnished with family photos of four generations. Guests were asked to leave words of wisdom for the bride and groom.

“From generation to generation, tradition!”

In addition, escort cards were offered to guests as they entered the ballroom.

With everything glistening and filled with candlelight, the venue was lit up beautifully. The bride’s desire for the warmth created by the colors of gold, pink and ivory was felt by everyone! Menu cards garnished the table and informed the guests about the feast they were about to enjoy!

Check out the gorgeous “tablescapes” and flowers provided by Pam from DH Flowers.

At Heritage Green Sandy Springs a Bar Mitzvah celebration featured a hockey theme to honor the passionate hockey fan and player – the Bar Mitzvah boy!

As everyone entered, a giant hockey puck was featured with an opening at the top that was actually a box for people to drop in their gift envelopes.

The table decor reflected the hockey theme with sticks and a hockey team insignia prominently displayed.

The beautiful outdoor venue of Heritage Green Sandy Springs’ garden included a gazebo where air hockey and a special bar with all types of kids drinks entertained the friends of the Bar Mitzvah boy and his guests.

The dance floor was packed all night with FEVER running the party,

Fabulous Las Vegas Flowers and Food

As an event and life-celebration party planner, I get to see and taste some pretty creatively presented and delicious food. Even with my vast culinary experiences, I am not normally much of a foodie, but I LOVED the taste and the presentation of food in Vegas. The plating and decor made me want to eat everything.

Check out the next two photos of dishes offered at FIX in the Bellagio!

The first photo shows a deconstructed Caesar salad -YUM!

These banana filled donuts with dipping sauces have no calories. If one keeps murmuring “mmmm” for the delicious flavor, the calories disappear!

How cute are these mini burger appetizers at Serendipity?

Cute also equals few calories, or so I like to tell myself!

What a great presentation of ribs, cole-slaw, and fries!

I will use this idea at a Western-themed event because the plating is so inviting.

Pannini lovers, check out this idea! Take grilled white meat chicken with Monterey jack cheese, arugula, grilled red onion and bbq sauce on ciabatta bread. Open wide and enjoy!

Besides enjoying the beauty of the food, flowers were plentiful and the word AMAZING does not do them justice. Every hotel lobby presented daily changing flower arrangements that were exquisite. I can’t imagine the time involved.

Evidently there is an abundance of flower arranging artistic talent in Vegas!

“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!” No! I am inspired and filled with new ideas that I bring to Atlanta and surrounding areas. What happened in Vegas, is good for Atlanta!

Wedding at Fernbank

Placecards Welcome Guests at Fernbank Wedding

Fernbank Museum offers a venue with information as well as a special ambiance for the bride and groom and their families and guests.

Fabulous weather gave the guests and wedding party an opportunity to mingle for cocktail hour on the patio.

Complimenting the verdant garden gorgeous table displays greeted cocktail hour guests. For the dinner/dance portion of the wedding festivities, several arrangements of roses in vases decorated the elegantly appointed tables.

Being students in vet school, the bride and groom found Fernbank Museum to be the perfect venue to celebrate their marriage. Dinosaur remains and replicas combined with stunning architecture added to the special wedding festivities.

The wedding cake, elegant and delicious, was personally crafted by Celso Rodriguez of Celso’s Cakes, Inc. in Norcross, Georgia. Celso’s 19 year expertise in traditional or whimsical pastry creations also provided the American Southern traditional groom’s cake. A cake created as a model of the bridge where the groom proposed to his bride enticed guests to indulge in two cake offerings.

Another artist for life event celebrations that added to the Fernbank wedding’s elegance and wow factor was BOLD AMERICAN Events’s cake stand tables’ presentations. What a display!

Check out the architectural detail of the groom’s cake, made by Celso’s Cakes, Inc.

King Plow – Congrats Katie & Justyn!

Beautiful summer day for these two… The bride had thought through all of the details. The guests came in to a collage of pictures from the couple throughout the years. The table had numerous pictures of the two of them and a bowl for people to leave a note for the couple. And last but not least some peach candies for everyone to enjoy…

“Please share your grains of wisdom with the bride and groom.”

The place card table had florals hanging from the ceiling on top of it – it was a great touch and of course in Katie’s colors…

Southern touches – each guest had a small white box filled with yummy candied pecans. They were delicious! She also had raspberry mojito’s at the bar. Stirrers and straws to match her theme in mason jars and Georgia Peanuts.

The tables had pictures and names of the couples favorite places in Athens and Atlanta – very nice added touch.

A sign that a friend made as a gift for the bride and groom – worked perfectly along the back wall of the room.

A couple of pictures of the room….

Bride’s cake… so well done and the flowers were such a beautiful addition…

Groom’s cake…can someone say dawg’s fan?

And don’t forget on your way out to grab an old fashion glass coke bottle for your way home…Atlanta and the South were definitely a part of this day…
