SUGAR SUGAR did a great job on these multi-purpose treats!

Neon pink, green, yellow and orange! What is a girl to do – her name in lights was a hit. Rounds for the adults and long tables for all of the kids with slightly different decor. Bright, fun, colorful, and exciting done by Let’s Celebrate.

Needed a Passover themed centerpiece. I was trying to come up with something that included Matzah, that was creative with the plagues and so on… 10 plagues, one for each table worked perfectly….and gave something to the kids to play with. We had the preschoolers do Matzah rubbings and put them on the tables as well.

Table ideas:

Blood – red cloth with band aids

Frogs – green cloth with jumping frogs

Lice – small black little pieces

Boils – red pom poms scattered on the table

Hail – dark blue cloth with cotton balls spread out

Locusts – large bugs

Cattle Disease – cows, pigs, and horses laying on the tables

Wild Beasts – lions, rhinos, giraffes and more…

Darkness – black cloth with black masks

Slaying of the first born – Baby rattles on the table

A friend mentioned to me a trick about tulips that I thought everyone should know. If you put a penny in the bottom of a vase with tulips, they will stand up straighter for longer. Great tip!

I attended a Bar Mitzvah last weekend at a local Sports Bar. Mazzy’s and the Bar Mitzvah boys mom did a fantastic job of turning a bar into a venue that worked perfectly for the evening. One area of cleared chairs for a dance floor, plenty of adult and child seating, a bar for the adults to hang out at and drink, pool tables, plenty of TV’s to show a montage and great food made for a FUN night.

Wedding Cakes? Can be a difficult decision? How much do I want to spend? Where should I get it from? What colors, flavors and design? As always – publix can make it easy and it TASTES GREAT!

A gorgeous natural chuppah made by the father of the bride, so sentimental that it gave the ceremony extra meaning. Cake by Rhode’s Bakery with an Eventscapes added touch with flowers. And Eventscapes designed the room as well – a little bit of southern flare! Lace design accompanied the program, placecards (design: Paperie by Melissa) and menu cards. All the special details: muppet song entrance, truffles in the wedding colors, and unbelievable weather made for the perfect day for J & J!

The Defoor Centre is an amazing venue for all different types of events, here it is set for a rehearsal dinner. For All Occasions catered this Kosher event and both Defoor and the caterer helped with the decor so that the evening would be perfect.

Design from this year!

This year I wanted to do something a little bit different for our superbowl party decor. I kept finding things that I liked on websites but didn’t want to spend a ton of money to make it happen. Let’s Celebrate was so sweet and let me borrow these to use for my party, we got a lot of compliments on them and I loved the way they looked!
