“Falling” in Love.

Kelsey and David said “I Do” on a rainy, fall (hey, it’s good luck, right?) evening at Rocky’s Lake Estate.fa137c52-ff5d-42ed-832b-9ab995778a7f

Once all of the couple’s guests entered the space, Kelsey made her entrance to her eagerly awaiting groom. She was so different from most brides, and requested a shot of Patron be brought to her right before she headed down the aisle; our kind of girl!

Once they made it official, guests entered cocktail hour and enjoyed appetizers of cheddar mac and cheese with lump crab salad, tenderloin wrapped asparagus, and pumpkin pie bisque shooters. YUM.

The happy couple was soon announced and the reception began! Kelsey was such a fun bride! She got right out onto the dance floor and danced the night away right from the start.

DJ Andre Peterson made sure to keep the party rolling and the whole crowd dancing from start to finish.

Guests tore themselves away from the dance floor only to eat. They enjoyed a seated salad of baby spinach with toasted corn and roasted pumpkin seeds, and enjoyed a slider and taco station as an entrée. We’d like to thank Gotta Have It catering for the fabulous fare!

Family members gave heartfelt toasts to the happy couple, but arguably the coolest feature of the evening was the Champagne Saber performed by the groom himself. For those of you who haven’t heard of/seen this, it’s basically where you chop the top off of a champagne bottle with a sword! Ok, just a big knife. But it was super cool and the crowd went wild! 35107807-a54b-49a3-9901-98f21ffd6404

As the evening came to a close, Kelsey and David cut their wedding cake, and she smashed it in his face! Photographer RAG Artistry caught this and tons of other memorable moments throughout the evening.

Guests departed with INCREDIBLE doughnuts by Da Vinci Donuts, and the happy couple made their blissful exit under a shower of sparklers. db234af2-4d67-400a-a095-7feb586d29ee

Congrats from all of us here at BC! We wish you all the best in your happily ever after.

“On October 3rd, Bluming Creativity performed a miracle. The weather was not cooperating for our outside wedding at one of the most beautiful venues in Atlanta. The most important part of the ceremony for the groom was to see the Bride walk down the aisle. Bluming Creativity was able to rearrange the reception space to be the perfect ceremony space with an aisle for the groom to see his bride for the first time and for her to walk down with her daddy. Once the ceremony was over Bluming Creativity flipped the entire space back in a timely manner and the wedding celebration continued. Everything ran very smoothly due to the great Bluming Creativity Team. We could not have had a better team to make this night the special night the bride and groom wanted.”

Pure Love at Puritan Mill

Melanie and Andrew said “I Do” at the Puritan Mill to the beautiful musical stylings of a string trio courtesy of Atlanta Sound.

Before they made their way down the aisle, Melanie and her bridesmaids were made (even more) beautiful with the talented Nyssa Green on hair and makeup.

Let’s Celebrate decked out the space in classic, simple colors of romantic whites and creams with gold accents.

When Melanie walked down the aisle, she looked absolutely stunning. We love this sweet moment between the two newlyweds. Big shoutout to Scobey Photography for this and so many other gorgeous moments captured.

Once the big moment was done, guests noshed on delicious appetizers and cocktails by Added Touch, while the new couple took a few moments to themselves.

After cocktail hour, I Love This Band cranked up right away, with a high energy dance set to get the party started. Melanie and Andrew had their first dance together, to ‘Come Rain or Come Shine’ by Ray Charles, and the two also danced their sweet father/daughter and mother/son dances as well.

Immediately following, dinner was served, and (as usual) it did not disappoint!

Next, well…..everyone partied! Guests enjoyed dancing the night away and even got to enjoy passed waters, chocolate chip cookies and cool cloths ON the dance floor!

The party began to come to a close with the cutting of the cake, courtesy of Metrotainment Bakery, and guests DEVOURED the to go snack, courtesy of Callie’s Little Hot Biscuit.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Shaw on a gorgeous wedding. We wish you the absolute best for the future!

Before Kimsey’s big entrance, she and her entourage got (even more) beautiful at the Loew’s Hotel with hair by the Moore
Agency and make-up by Rena Antebi.

Once Kimsey was ready, she and her groom had their “first look” at the hotel before they headed to the venue. Catherine Park with My Life Photography captured this sweet moment.

While the bride and groom prepared for their big day, a number of vendors were transforming The Temple into a gorgeous and romantic setting. A huge thank you to Unique Floral Expressions,

Cover Ups, and Atlanta Event Decor for their work; everything looked amazing!

Once all of the details were set, Kimsey walked down the aisle to Jared in front of all of their family and friends.

Afterwards, the happy crowd made their way to cocktail hour to enjoy delicious cocktails and appetizers, courtesy of Endive. They munched on mini pigs in a blanket, thin crust pizza with duck breast and caramelized onions, and philly cheese steak tarts just to name a few.

The couple’s guests made their way into the space and watched as they had their first dance to Otis Redding’s “That’s How Strong My Love Is”. The band, Emerald Empire, impressed everyone because…well, they are just awesome!

The crowd danced the night away, stopping only to eat the delicious plated dinner, and this GORGEOUS wedding cake by Ali’s Cookies.

Kimsey and Jared’s guests left happy and exhausted; with a late night mini chicken and waffle in hand!

A UGA Love Story.

Christen and Brad exchanged vows at the historic Freight Depot in the heart of Atlanta.

mlp-3133

Built in 1869, the Freight Depot is the oldest building in downtown Atlanta. It was converted to an event space in 1981 and can hold up to 1300 guests!

mlp-4057

Needless to say, Brad and Christen did not fill the space, but we sure got our steps in running to and fro getting set up for this event!

Atlanta Event Decor alongside Troy with Avenue, made this MASSIVE space both beautiful and intimate. Christen chose a sweet, feminine color palette of soft pinks and creams, and it turned out just beautifully.

The couple opted for both Pastor Tim Riordan and Rabbi Lebow to officiate their ceremony since they are from different religious backgrounds, and their sweet service included traditions dear to both of their hearts.

Once “I Do’s” were exchanged, the couple and their bridal parties headed out for photos with Catherine Park of My Life Photography, and their guests headed to cocktail hour. Some favorite items? Asparagus wrapped prosciutto, springs rolls and pecan chicken satay.

mlp-5076

The couple and their friends re-joined the party as everyone made their way inside the main event space.

DJ Atlanta Fever played a short dance set, then everyone settled down to a delicious plated dinner of salmon, filet and assorted side items.

After dinner, it was time to party! DJ Mello did what he does best; he got the crowd up and dancing and they never sat back down!

mlp-7146

mlp-7245

Ok they sat down for one thing: speeches. Christen’s maid of honor gave a fabulous speech, while Brad’s best man even did a UGA chant for all of the bulldog loving crowd. James Futch captured this (and all of the other great moments of the night) on video, for the newlyweds to cherish.

mlp-4072

mlp-4071

The party raged on, only stopping to cut the gorgeous cake, provided by Metrotainment Bakery, and to bid the couple adieu via a sparkler exit after an amazing night.
