A few days shy of Halloween Cydney and Rachel threw a “Boo-Mitzvah” that would have topped any Halloween party in town! From the décor, to the food, to the fabulously freaky dessert bar, this Bnai Mitzvah celebration was one for the record books.
Held at The Temple in beautiful Midtown, Cydney and Rachel delighted their guests with bright and trendy Halloween colors and tons of fun Halloween décor and props.
We especially loved the glowing orbs and amazing haunted house graphic on the back wall. Let’s Celebrate did a fabulous job making this the spookiest celebration we’ve ever seen.
Zest provided the always delectable cuisine for the evening and truly outdid themselves with the dessert bar. It had a “witches brew” cauldron filled with dry ice, giving the whole display an eerie feel and was decorated with gnarled branches, spider webs and a great Frankenstein head. The desserts themselves were the stuff of nightmares; albeit delicious ones! From spider cupcakes, to “bloody” red velvet bites, to “dirt” brownies covered in slimy (gummy) worms, we literally had to hold back the crowd until the display was complete!
Not a fun (or frightening) moment was missed as Patti with Scenesations Photography captured pictures throughout the evening. Magician Ben Goldfein also made an appearance, and pulled out lots of tricks (and treats) for the guests to enjoy.
There was certainly not a shortage of entertainment at this event! DJ Vibe rocked the house, Air Illustrations gave out tons of fun airbrush tattoos, and, always a crowd favorite, Memories in a Moment provided a green screen for all of the guests fun and freaky photos. 😉
All of the little details truly made this spooky October celebration one to be remembered. Congrats Cydney and Rachel, you both did a fabulous job!
