Nicole and her guests danced the night away during her amazing Bat Mitzvah at the Mason Fine Art Center.
Michelle Friedman adorned the already stylish venue with glitzy aqua and raspberry colors, topped with tons of tulle and cute, girly touches. We especially loved the cute pillows shown below and the hilarious coasters (for the adults of course) that read: “Trust Me, You Can Dance. –Vodka”.
Added Touch Catering did a fabulous job with the food and created two signature cocktails; a blue one called “The Blue Ballerina” and a pink, called “The Pink Pirouette”. These cute cocktails were not only delicious, but they were served by an actual ballerina as the guests entered the venue!
Once cocktail hour had wrapped up, the guests entered the space and were greeted with a preset salad composed of mixed greens, vine ripened tomatoes, hearts of palm and toasted sesame seeds.
Guests were then invited to enjoy the food stations, and although we’d like to name them all, we’ll just highlight the beautiful beef tenderloin, delicious grilled salmon and signature fragrant quinoa. Trust us, we could go on. The food was absolutely fabulous!
Once the guests had had their fill, Mello and Dontae with Atlanta Fever, kicked the party into high gear! Nicole’s guests came to party and the dance floor remained full the entire evening.
While kids took breaks from dancing, they were entertained with fun caricatures by BIGhead Cartoons, and green screen photos by Button it Up. BIU also provided keepsake airbrush pillows for the guests in a variety of styles.
Undoubtedly the coolest and most unique feature of this party was the Live Painter, John Jay Thomas from Dallas, Texas, who painted a canvas of the party as it happened. He was so incredible-he painted for hours on end and we even had to convince him to stop for a drink of soda and a bite to eat!
Another super cool feature of this dance bash was the SURPRISE dance crew from Dan & Co. Studios who hid until their debut, then ran out and ROCKED the house with their awesome choreographed routine. Nicole was so happy and surprised- her reaction was absolutely priceless!
Of course, videographer James Futch and photographer, Chuck Robertson caught this, and all of the evening’s priceless memories on film so that Nicole and her family are able to re-live it for years to come.
The evening wrapped up with: you guessed it, more fabulous food. Tiramisu trifles, crème brule, and summer meringue pavlovas with passion fruit were just a few among a mouth watering list of delights.
Oh, and of course, Dippin’ Dots for the kids. Ok and maybe some adults, too.
The DJ played the Graduation Song to officially end the evening, and we think it’s fair to say it was a great success! Congrats Nicole!
