Bradley hit it out of the park with his Braves themed Bar Mitzvah at the Georgia Freight Depot!

Your Event Solutions (YES) decked out the space with fencing, picnic tables, bleachers and even made the entrance look like that of a locker room!

But the décor didn’t stop there; Bradley also had a cool, custom decal on the dance floor and even had Ice Sculptures Unlimited craft him an awesome baseball themed sculpture!

As the guests entered the “field”, they were greeted with (true to theme) pastry wrapped hot dogs with spicy mustard, as well as a delicious roasted pear and brie bruschetta, among many others.

The kids enjoyed apps of pretzel bites and tater tots. What’s not to love??

As the party kicked off, DJ Mello, with Atlanta Fever cranked up some cool baseball sounds and played the Braves tomahawk chop theme song to Bradley’s entrance. Bradley even had a personalized tomahawk to enter the scene with!

Another cool feature of Bradley’s party with the special appearance of Homer, the Braves official mascot! Needless to say, the crowd loved it.

Once guests had settled in to the party, dinner was served. Some of the stations included, a slider station, a tenderloin station, salmon station, and salad station. Oh and the kids even had a nacho station! We may or may not have seen a few adults slip into the kids line as well….;)

Once the guests had danced their dinners off, it was time for dessert! Milk and cookies were passed and Bradley’s friends and family enjoyed a crowd favorite, Dippin’ Dots. They also indulged in Krispy Kreme doughnuts and cotton candy, courtesy of Carnival Promotions.

The evening ended with a tribute circle to Bradley, as DJ Mello played “Lean on Me”. It was such a great ending to the night, and photographer Chuck Robertson as well as videographer James Futch caught all of the action on film.

Je T’aime.

Natalie and James said ‘I Do’ at the gorgeous St. Regis Atlanta.

Surrounded by their friends and family, and a touch of Parisian elegance, the couple shared a beautiful day, sure to be remembered for a lifetime.

mlp-6022

mlp-6040

Natalie and James were married by Natalie’s Uncle, Michael Tune, and once the deal was sealed, they sent all of their guests to cocktail hour while they had photos taken by the super talented, Catherine Park.

mlp-3125

Guests dined on Tuna Tartare in a Black Sesame Cone with Avocado Mousse, a deconstructed “PLT” and Caprese Skewers with White Balsamic. Y.U.M.

Once the guests were moved into the reception space, they were all wowed by the elegant, Parisian touches Natalie chose as a nod to her mother, who was from Paris. Let’s Celebrate did a fabulous job incorporating Natalie’s vision into her stunning décor. We’d also like to give a shout out to Crush Rentals, who provided the furniture and the mirrored sweetheart table.

mlp-6062

We don’t want to take up an entire paragraph about what guests ate for dinner, but it is all SO worth mentioning! The couple’s guests dined on Seared Colorado Lamb Chop with an English Mint Sauce, Miniature Corndogs with Spicy Mustard, Miniature Open Faced Beef, Truffle Crusted Diver Scallop, Sweet Corn Puree and Chive Shoots, Chilled Asparagus Soup with Lobster and Heart of Palm Salad, Bibb Lettuce Cup with Seasonal Mixed Greens and Cucumber bundle……yes we’re still going…. Marinated tomatoes and Citrus Vinaigrette, Herb Marinated Beef Tenderloin, Smoked Cheddar and Leek Gratin, Sundried Tomato Crusted Grouper, and Pancetta Brussels Sprouts.

Whew! Are you trying to eat your screen? Us too.

Once everyone was blissfully stuffed from dinner, the party moved to the dance floor where the band, Emerald Empire, rocked the house all night long. Natalie and James danced the night away to the delight of the crowd.

One of the coolest parts of this wedding was the Champagne Saber; a guy opens a bottle of champagne with a knife and it’s really quite impressive! Needless to say, the crowd loved it.

mlp-7097

Should we talk about more food? We’ll try to keep it short and sweet. 😉

Dessert was nothing short of decadent, with Salted Caramel Truffle Chocolate Devil’s Food Cake and Almond Joy Pound Cake.

mlp-6054

Another really cute touch was the butler passed Vanilla and Chocolate Milkshakes and Pistachio Macaroons.

As the night came to a close, the guests departed with slap-penz.

We’d like to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to the new Mr. and Mrs. and wish them all the best for their future together!

Dance Like No One’s Watching.

Nicole and her guests danced the night away during her amazing Bat Mitzvah at the Mason Fine Art Center.

Michelle Friedman adorned the already stylish venue with glitzy aqua and raspberry colors, topped with tons of tulle and cute, girly touches. We especially loved the cute pillows shown below and the hilarious coasters (for the adults of course) that read: “Trust Me, You Can Dance. –Vodka”.

Added Touch Catering did a fabulous job with the food and created two signature cocktails; a blue one called “The Blue Ballerina” and a pink, called “The Pink Pirouette”. These cute cocktails were not only delicious, but they were served by an actual ballerina as the guests entered the venue!

Once cocktail hour had wrapped up, the guests entered the space and were greeted with a preset salad composed of mixed greens, vine ripened tomatoes, hearts of palm and toasted sesame seeds.

Guests were then invited to enjoy the food stations, and although we’d like to name them all, we’ll just highlight the beautiful beef tenderloin, delicious grilled salmon and signature fragrant quinoa. Trust us, we could go on. The food was absolutely fabulous!

Once the guests had had their fill, Mello and Dontae with Atlanta Fever, kicked the party into high gear! Nicole’s guests came to party and the dance floor remained full the entire evening.

While kids took breaks from dancing, they were entertained with fun caricatures by BIGhead Cartoons, and green screen photos by Button it Up. BIU also provided keepsake airbrush pillows for the guests in a variety of styles.

Undoubtedly the coolest and most unique feature of this party was the Live Painter, John Jay Thomas from Dallas, Texas, who painted a canvas of the party as it happened. He was so incredible-he painted for hours on end and we even had to convince him to stop for a drink of soda and a bite to eat!

Another super cool feature of this dance bash was the SURPRISE dance crew from Dan & Co. Studios who hid until their debut, then ran out and ROCKED the house with their awesome choreographed routine. Nicole was so happy and surprised- her reaction was absolutely priceless!

Of course, videographer James Futch and photographer, Chuck Robertson caught this, and all of the evening’s priceless memories on film so that Nicole and her family are able to re-live it for years to come.

The evening wrapped up with: you guessed it, more fabulous food. Tiramisu trifles, crème brule, and summer meringue pavlovas with passion fruit were just a few among a mouth watering list of delights.

Oh, and of course, Dippin’ Dots for the kids. Ok and maybe some adults, too.

The DJ played the Graduation Song to officially end the evening, and we think it’s fair to say it was a great success! Congrats Nicole!

686-Fialkow

Held at Ahavath Achim Synagogue and catered by Added Touch Catering, Sydney’s guests enjoyed a fabulous meal, and tons of great entertainment.

Sydney opted for a stunning ice sculpture with her monogram, provided by Ice Sculptures Unlimited, and it was such a beautiful focal point of the cocktail hour.

114-Fialkow

127-FialkowEventscapes completed the vision with gorgeous contrasting colors of turquoise, purple, silver and black. They also provided gaming tables and an AWESOME dancing heads game called Popnoggins.

680-Fialkow214-Fialkow

Sydney’s guests feasted on some of the best food we’ve ever seen! This list may be a bit long, but literally everything was worth mentioning! Guests started off with appetizers such as Spring rolls, grit cakes, smoked salmon rose on latke, seared tuna on wonton, feta pastry bites, and a taco station. Folks then moved on to an entrée of a pear salad on each setting; the wait staff even wore Sydney’s adorable purple monogrammed aprons. Following, everyone enjoyed an Asian sea bass, rice cake, and haricot vert bundle. The kids chowed down on pizza bites, manicotti, tater tots and noodle cups. We think it’s safe to say that no one left hungry!

Once the plates were cleared and the guests stuffed, the party made its way to the dance floor where photographer Chuck Robertson was waiting to capture all of the fun filled moments. Fever spun all of the popular jams of today and the crowd loved every minute!

Perhaps the most memorable moment was when they Hora was played and Sydney was hoisted up in her monogrammed chair to pop a huge ball holding balloons and confetti! Talk about making it rain! 😉

Throughout the evening, magician Michael Boone worked the room providing entertainment for the crowd, while Memories in a Moment provided a fun photo outlet as well.

As the evening came to a close, dessert was served; a waffle bar with Nutella, bananas and all the fixin’s, Cannolis, and a Krispy Kreme Cart was even rolled in.

If guests didn’t want to leave the dance floor for dessert, they didn’t have to! Mini waffle sorbet cones circled the room for those who simply couldn’t pull themselves away from the fun.

608-Fialkow

As guests departed, they even had the option of getting into Sydney’s Milk Line, where they enjoyed warm and gooey cookies and milk.

A Horse of a Different Color!

Leora threw a funky, bright and fun Mitzvah for her family and friends at Three Sheets in Atlanta!

Three Sheets has such a cool vibe that the décor was minimal and just perfect for the space. Leora’s mom gave us pictures of her daughter to display, and we set out some  bowls with candy and nuts. These cute chalkboard signs and Leora’s adorable sign in pillow did the rest!

As the adults moved inside, DJ Omar, with VIBE got the party started with a Lip Sync Contest. The winners all received selfie sticks as prizes and it was so fun to watch.

Photographer Vosamo captured this amazing shot of the fun as well as all of the other great moments of the evening.

Vibe

Once the guests had settled into the party, dinner was served. Adults enjoyed their choice of sliders: angus, black bean and grilled chicken, as well as salad in cups with a number of toppings, and truffle salt pomme fries. The kids enjoyed similar fare: angus sliders, fries, strawberries and grapes.

Guests also had tons of fun in the photo booth! We’d like to thank Robot Booth for this super memorable feature of the evening’s festivities.

The evening wound down with dessert of course, although we wouldn’t say that Waffle House necessarily equaled “winding down”. The kids went absolutely nuts for it!

Guests also had the choice of enjoying the gorgeous cake made by Kasey Kyner. In colors of coral and turquoise with a horse logo, and horseshoe at the top, it was the stuff that any horse lover’s dreams are made of.

Zoe’s Picture Perfect Evening.

Zoe celebrated her Bat Mitzvah in eclectic, artistic style at King Plow in Midtown.

A truly talented artist, it’s no surprise that she opted for an art theme, displaying some of her amazing works amongst the existing art at the venue.

The venue itself seemed as though it was literally made for Zoe; with interesting pieces, and an industrial feel.

009-_DCB0945

Kim Quinn Designs truly shone for this event. The details were incredible, featuring centerpieces made of paint brushes, this AMAZINGLY creative place card table and upturned paint cans spilling gorgeous “paint” onto the cocktail tables. Cover Ups provided beautiful linens for the tables, completing this colorful palate. All of the guests went on and on about all of the creative touches that made this event so memorable!

As the guests ooh’d and ahhh’d over all of the fun details, they enjoyed delicious passed appetizers of tuna tacos, chicken salad in cornet and fried goat cheese bites, while the kids enjoyed mozzarella sticks and pretzel bites.

Once everyone had had their fill, Krazy Boys pumped up the party with some awesome music and their always fabulous dancers! This crowd was SUPER into it and the dance floor was literally hot (as in people had to walk out of the room to cool off) with excitement!

During dancing breaks, kids and adults alike had tons of fun with green screen photos provided by Memories in a Moment, and collected fun, airbrushed souvenirs by Georgia Airbrush.

008-_DCB0993

The Mitzvah Man made his way around the room capturing photos of the evenings festivities, while James Futch captured video. James was also responsible for the photo montage, and it was really so sweet to watch; mom and dad stood at the back of the room together hugging throughout the whole thing.

Zoe’s actual birthday happened to fall on the day of her party, so mom and dad had a special cupcake made just for her that looked like a painter’s palate. So fun!

011_ZB10624

Guests enjoyed a dessert bar of assorted mini desserts, mini cupcakes, and rice krispy treats dipped in icing (made to look like paintbrushes dipped in colorful paint).

Hands down, the most memorable part of the evening was the surprise flash mob led by Zoe’s little sister, Reese. She walked out to the center of the dance floor and 5th Harmony’s “Worth It” came on. The entire immediate family then broke out into a rehearsed, choreographed routine and the crowd. Went. Wild.

Congrats to Zoe and her beautiful family for throwing this super fun and memorable party. You guys rock!

Sam requested that all of his guests arrive in Jerseys and jeans, and everyone looked so “Superbowl Chic”; photographer Steven Dewberry caught all of the ensembles as well as the action, as the night went on.

IMG_1290

Perhaps the most unique moment of….well…any Mitzvah we’ve ever seen was the photo montage. Sam’s uncle put together THE COOLEST “Top 5 Plays on Sports Center” themed montage featuring all of Sam’s “greatest hits” and the crowd (literally) went wild. It was truly awesome to see.

Red, White and BOOM! Throw America the Best Birthday Evahhhh.

Ahhhh, summer. Can you believe that 4th of July is almost upon us? The days are long, the nights warm, and you’re probably getting pumped for the patriotic festivities this mid-summer holiday has to offer.

We know that most of you will be looking for a way to make your Independence Day bash stand out, and we’ve got some great ideas to help you shine as bright as the 4th of July night sky!

Make lawn stars with some red, white, and blue spray paint a knife, and a piece of cardboard. Simply cut a star design in the cardboard, place it on your lawn and spray! If you’d rather not spray your lawn with paint, consider using flour instead. The stars will be white, but they’ll wash right away.

90gnw8ehwfhlpemkb4w351d70ca6e1c81

Have your food and eat it too. The toughest thing about a BBQ is choosing between your precious sangria and taking a bite of your potato salad! These awesome plates allow you to hold your drink and eat your food. Which I think we can all agree is quite helpful!

Everyone loves a free printable, and this one is perfect to add a little patriotic flare to your party. You don’t even have to buy a frame; simply replace an existing photo with the printable, and replace when your party is over. Doesn’t get much easier than that!

stars and stripes

Keep the kids busy with Abraham Lincoln’s (why? We made it up) Spoon Race. Divide the kiddos into two teams and fill 2 buckets with pennies. Place an empty bucket at the finish line and give each team a spoon or ladle. On “go” each team must transfer as many pennies to the empty bucket at a time, without dropping them. If pennies are dropped, they go back to the starter bucket. First team to transfer all pennies wins! This game is so simple and fun and the kids will sleep like LOGS. Win, win.

If you play with fire, you don’t have to get burned. This idea is ingeneous: poke a small hole in a Solo cup and thread a sparkler through. This way, the kids (and adults) can wave those babies around to their hearts content, and not worry about getting burned.

sparklershieldfinal

Keep the grownups busy with….ahh who are we kidding, if the kids are busy, the grownups don’t need entertainment!

2408blk-w484h484z1-50427-star-spangled-hammered

Feed the masses. Sometimes feeding a large group on America’s favorite grilling holiday can be intimidating. Opt for simple foods like steaks and burgers instead of labor intensive entrees that require a lot of prep-work. While your guests are waiting for their grilled entrees, wow them with this gorgeously simple patriotic fruit and cheese tray.

dsc_0024

We hope that these tips will help make your Independence Day bash the best one yet! Happy 4th, and be safe with your friends and loved ones!
